How do I get a name back that is in the Redemption Period status?

If your account type is Reseller, or SDS International registered or transferred the domain name for you, we can assist you with buying back your domain name. If your domain name is with another registrar, it will be necessary to contact that registrar to buy back a domain name in the Redemption Period.

If your account type is Reseller, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your account and choose menu option DOMAINS
  2. Click my domains and choose the redemption link
  3. Select the domain from the list and click add to cart
  4. Proceed through checkout and purchase
  5. There are no refunds on redemptions
  6. There are two stages of Redemption. After your domains expire, you may find them under Extended Redemption Grace Period (ERGP), or Redemption Grace Period (RGP). Prices vary according to account and currently range from $165 (it costs us $160 for this service; we are only passing along the cost plus enough to cover our payment processing costs) per domain name plus renewal, depending upon status. Prices may change at any time.

The bottom line is do not let your domain name(s) expire!
